Do you have to use ChiliFresh URL for ChiliPAC?

When implementing ChiliPAC, we recommend using ChiliFresh URL for that, e.g., libraryname.chilifresh.com. Our servers are located in Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure datacenters, and we are deploying your ChiliPAC instances in or as close as possible geographically to the datacenter of your original catalog, and with having ChiliFresh-controlled domain, there are following impact and benefits:

• We make deployment and datacenter changes seamless
  • you do not need to make any domain changes on your end
  • we can do it very rapidly
• One level of fail-over fail-over system in case of outages we use is domain-based. Requirement for that is for ChiliFresh to be able to control the domain name settings

Nevertheless, we can integrate ChiliPAC with domain name provided by the library, but then benefits described above will not apply and in case of outages we may need to ask your library to redirect the domain name to different IP addresses which may take time
