Here are a few questions you must answer and rules to follow when submitting a feedback:
If you notice an error on your profile - DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING until error is diagnosed! Most often an error requires more detailed diagnostics, it cannot be determined from user's description.
Send full screenshot (including the browser with
URL) if possible, not just part of the screen where you noticed the error
If no full screen-shot sent - what browser version and operating system was used?
If reporting about specific OPAC and screenshot not sent -
what was the exact URL in your browser at time of the error?
In case of Connections - which user's profile (exact nickname or yourself) were you looking at when you noticed the error?
What is the essence of the error? Comments like “it does not work” are not helpful. What does not work and how did you expect it to work?
Describe your actions step-by-step before you noticed the error, be as specific as possible, e.g., I logged on Connections, scrolled down to “My comments” widget, clicked on user X at his last comment to go to his profile. When his profile page opened, I noticed error X..
BE AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE! Remember that “Clicking on user” and “Clicking on book” can be done in several places in Connections. So instead of just saying “I clicked on book and the error happened” be as specific as “I was on my profile and in My following widget clicked on Book X added by User X, then the error X happened” Even the tiniest detail that may seem not important to you at that moment may lead to a solution of the issue.
