Responding to reference desk chat

In order for “Chat with reference desk” button to become active on “My library widget” of your patron's profiles:

You must:

  • Log on to ChiliFresh Admin panel
  • Navigate to “Chat” tab
  • Go to “Respond to conversations” if you are administrator of your library's ChiliFresh account

OR

  • Ask your library's ChiliFresh account administrator to add you to chat operators list by going to “Manage chat operators” section

Once you have done that, you will be ready to accept incoming chat requests from your patrons!

Please note:

  • You must have enabled accepting pop-up windows
  • You cannot accept chat from yourself while being both on Admin panel and on Connections
