You must be using Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7 or some other older browser version which has technical limitations that cannot be worked around for Connections. Frankly, to avoid getting logged out of Connections every time you minimize/maximize Connections or switch between OPAC pages, your web browser must be updated.

To expand this topic, you are getting logged out as older browsers have technical limitation that does not allow storing 3rd party Cookies on your hard drive, therefore Connections cannot determine if it is the same user trying to open up Connections again.
